Extended Workforce Influencer Forum: Between Change Fatigue and Status Quo

Insights on Initiating and Influencing Change from Expert Buyers

It’s easy to stay in a comfortable status quo. That is until that comfort starts costing your business. Exhaustion from continuous transformation efforts can burn out teams and leaders alike. So, what do you do when you know you need better technology, faster access to contingent talent, and the cost of doing nothing is getting progressively more painful?  Whether it’s outdated processes, inefficiencies, or missed market opportunities, the message is clear: inaction is a risk.

Procurement, talent, and technology professionals are the ones feeling most of the impact of needing new processes and systems as market dynamics change rapidly, but how do you convince hesitant key stakeholders to embrace change?

A Candid Conversation: Extended Workforce Leaders Take on Change Fatigue and Breaking Out of Status Quo

To help, we brought together the strategic sourcing director at FINRA Jake Galbraith, director of solution design at Flextrack, Will Ulmer, and Flextrack’s Managing Director and the mind behind the Influencer Forum, Jeff Mike for an interactive discussion on overcoming these challenges. The conversation focused on equipping workforce leaders with practical strategies, tools, and relationships to drive transformation while avoiding burnout. The panel explored navigating the cost of doing nothing, building influence for sustainable, pain-free change, and dove into how listeners can leverage technology and external expertise to move forward.

The challenges of change fatigue and inaction might not be going away, but with the right strategies, relationships, and technology, workforce leaders can stay ahead of unforeseen change and disruption to drive real, long term impact in their organizations.
